Key Deliverables•Steering efforts towards providing Server Support to 300 users .•Maintain 8 physical server installations . These include AD, File server, Print server, DHCP, DNS, Symantec (VERITAS) backup exec server, EMS server, BlackBerry Enterprise Server, Network License Manager Server (for AutoPlant, PDMS, Intools, AutoCAD, etc.) and PDS server. •Facilitating configuration and maintenance of eight virtual servers which include one Microsoft Windows update server, three Intools application servers, Messengex server and PBX virtual server. •Check Orion and monitor the health status of all servers and report all issues that need to be resolved.•Auto update of latest patches released by Microsoft for 2000/2003/XP machines using “Microsoft Windows Software Update Service (WSUS).•Perform daily incremental, weekly full and monthly full backups of all data. Perform data restores when requested by the user population. Monitoring of Backups on daily basis.•Check Status of Forefront Client Security (FCS) on all servers and ensure that it detects and updates all workstations regularly and protects data and the network.•Creating user accounts, deleting, modifying, disabling the access rights, apply naming convention, group policy as per policy and domain joining the desktops and also transfer accounts for demobilized users to other WP subsidiaries.•Work closely with the Helpdesk Team to address all server related problems and requests those have been logged by the user population. Assist in the completion and satisfaction of user request and helpdesk tickets.•Installation of engineering software network licenses on servers and make the same available to engineering team. •Ensure that the Disaster Recovery Server replicates on daily basis. •Administration of the Blackberry Enterprise Server and support all activities related BB including 50+ clients troubleshooting.
