I am coordinating the activities of 4 partners of the EBIC-Ege, the regional Enterprise Europe Network consortium. Funded by the European Commission with a €2M+ budget under the Single Market Programme, EBIC-Ege delivers advisory services to SMEs and entrepreneurs, especially on digitalization, internationalization, access to finance and partnering. I am in charge of coordinating the project, ensuring the realization of proposed activities, following up on the KPIs, keeping track of the project budget, preparing and submitting technical and financial reports to the European Commission.

My key focus in this position is to match the university's skills with the opportunities that exist at the EU level. I facilitate the process of identifying EU grants suitable for Ege University and write, review, and check the quality of proposals that are being developed to meet EU requirements. I initiate, coordinate, and assist operational tasks ranging from call monitoring, selection, and preparation to final quality control. I make sure that topics are covered thoroughly and help identify appropriate project partners abroad. I provide mentoring services to start-ups and entrepreneurs in our incubation center in the areas of business idea validation, customer segmentation, customer validation, market research, business plan writing, and access to funding. At the same time, I am working as a team coach within the scope of the HexaBIG project we are carrying out. HexaBIG is a pre-incubation program, supported by the government to assist entrepreneurs in their journey of establishing their start-ups and commercializing their products. Also, I took the role of mentor and evaluator in several hackathons organised by other organisations. In addition, I am responsible for the coordination of the marketing and internationalization operations of the D-TECH4ENT project, which is supported by the Ministry of Industry and Technology within the scope of IPA. I am also a member of the "Operation Coordination Unit". Within the scope of the project, a deep technology acceleration program was designed and in addition, a factory building with modern devices was put into operation for the scaling of prototypes.

I worked as a production engineer, and I gained experience in the press, forging, heat treatment, machining, and assembly operations. I worked on the calculation of OEE based on technical methods, and at the end of this project, an OEE monitoring system was installed. Since the factory was in the progress of adapting lean manufacturing methods, I worked on lean production applications (JiT production, SMED, etc.) and also the Kanban system.
