• Developed a new CFD methodology to simulate the thermal behavior within the cabin of a truck and capture the conjugate heat transfer mechanisms among cab materials. • Realized the methodology and implemented cabin heat-up simulations using multiphysics modeling, shell conduction, UDF-based time-variant HTC, and multiple time-scale modeling.• Set up a benchmark case and ran validation tests against experimental data to confirm functionality in transient conditions.• Recommended a refined CFD workflow and identified limitations and potential improvements in the methodology.• Suggested parameters of interest for subsequent experimentation that could help enhance the methodology.• Involved planning and preparation of objectives of the thesis, literature survey, CAD preparation, Benchmark study, Grid verification, method validation, and presentation of results.

• My responsibilities included driving the team to make improvements to our existing systems and assisting with design decisions. I was also collaborating with the team management and sponsors to better equip our group while also planning for fabrication and assembly. • I initiated and guided a long-term project with the objective of developing a simulation model of the vehicle dynamics of our FSAE car in SIMULINK. • Successfully implemented carbon composites into the suspension and steering systems and was instrumental in securing fully sponsored components thus relieving essential resources for increased testing.• Cross-collaborated on design decisions along with chassis, low voltage, and aerodynamics teams. • Had fun along with my teammates with some team-building activities!!

• Was responsible for improving the steering system of the formula student car.• Compared the weight, cost and performance characteristics of U-joints and Bevel gears for steering transmission. Retained the choice for U-joints based on weight constraints. • Redesigned steering mounts and performed a structural analysis thus resulting in an improvement in lateral and transverse stability. Further completely eliminated play in the system that occurred during hard steering inputs. • Designed a steering sensor mount and experimented with 3D printing techniques for rapid prototyping and testing.

• My responsibilities included the overall design direction of the suspension system, keeping track of deadlines and conformance to rules, and assisting team members with design decisions and other necessary resources.• Re-designed and optimized the double wishbone suspension resulting in significant improvements in stiffness and range of motion. • Tested the applicability of steel alloy as opposed to Aluminium for improved dynamic behavior and ease of fabrication.• Completely overhauled the wheel hub design to optimize weight and load-bearing capabilities.
