I conducted research in Professor W.E. Moerner's lab at Stanford, where I utilized single molecule imaging, 3D super-resolution microscopy, fluorescence labeling, and cell culture techniques to visualize specific biomolecules in mammalian cells at resolutions of 10-20 nm. I then employed image processing and deep learning algorithms to model and analyze biological behavior

I served as an advanced teaching assistant for CHEM 275, a graduate-level chemistry course that provides an overview of the current research and techniques used in single-molecule spectroscopy and microscopy. In this role, I contributed to the design and construction of a laboratory component that enabled students to detect individual molecules.

Lumiere Education pairs PhD students and faculty with high school students, both domestically and internationally, to collaborate on designing, executing, and writing research papers. These projects often involve students from developing nations. I helped guide projects that included designing neural networks to segment the shape of cellular nuclei and analyzing the societal ramifications of deep learning methods.

As a teaching assistant for undergraduate biochemistry courses at Stanford, I held office hours and exam review sessions, led weekly discussions, proctored and graded exams, and contributed to the design of problem sets, exams, and class infrastructure.

I conducted research in Professor Andrei Tokmakoff's lab, where I used FTIR and 2D infrared spectroscopy to extract femtosecond dynamics of elastin-like peptides and proteins.
