I am studying engineering at the University of Michigan, College of Engineering in Ann Arbor. In the summer of 2019 I worked as an intern at Allen Institute for Brain Science in Seattle solving problems related to bio-science using machine learning. In Ann Arbor I work as a research assistant at the Walter E. Lay Automotive Lab for the Scientific Computing and Flow Physics Laboratory. At the lab I write software to improve fault tolerance of supercomputers using machine learning techniques. This will be used to help solve high-performance demands for the computing of large-scale fluid dynamics problems. I was placed in the top five at a 24 hour Hackathon sponsored by the Department of Defense regarding predictive maintenance for military vehicles, using a functional Reinforcement Learning Network.I am passionate about computer science and engineering as well as using technology to solve real-world problems.
