CurrentAnita Richards is the Global Managing Director CR, at Beacon Events which produces the globally recognised mining investment series “Mines and Money” as well as Asia Pacific’s largest mining andresources conference, the International Mining and Resources Conference (IMARC).Anita is a strategic events leader with over 15 years’ experience in launching, managing and producing world-class conferences in the financial services, technology and resources industries, with a compelling track record in delivering robust conferences in established and new geographical regions, underpinned by strong attendance levels and attendee satisfaction. Anita is based in Melbourne, with an enviable global network of contacts, having managedevents throughout the world, including Australia, Asia, the Middle East, Europe and the Americas.Anita Richards is committed to promoting diversity in the workplace and sits on the Committee of AusIMM WIMnet helping to facilitate the professional development of women. Having previously held the role as a Director within Deaf Sports Australia, Anita has a passion for facilitating the inclusion of the hard-of-hearing in business and in the wider community.
