I'm a team-focused 4th year electronics student keen to tackle challenging project with innovative solutions. From my time as Team Principal of Durham University Solar Car I have lots of experience working on and leading multi-disciplinary projects. My most impressive achievement to date is leading the solar car team to the 2023 Bridgestone World Solar Challenge where we finished the incredible 3000 km journey from Darwin to Adelaide for the first time in Durham's history. I'm also proud to say our 11th place finish was the highest placing British finish ever!Solar Car has been the perfect addition to the taught studies at Durham University allowing me to apply my knowledge to real-world projects. My studies at Durham have provided me experience working with RF communication and embedded electronics systems. My dissertation focusses on an 'Active Battery Management System' using embedded systems and software to more efficiently utilise the energy stored within batteries. Finally, my time at university has taught me all the necessary skills that are vital in the workplace. Teamwork, leadership, and communication are just some of the skills I have learnt over the years.
