Durham University Solar Car, formerly known as DUEM, are Britain's leading solar car team. Founded in 2002, we have always pushed the boundaries of technological innovation to the limit. We are entirely a student run and led team who enters major solar endurance races and have just returned from racing 3000km across Australia in the 2019 World Solar Challenge.
The majority of our finances are through sponsorship, and so we are always on the lookout for new sponsors to propel us towards our goals. We have represented our sponsors at some of the world's biggest motoring events, such as the Goodwood Festival of Speed and the London Motor Show.
