As a current MS in Computer Science and Engineering student at Santa Clara University, I am eager to apply my skills and knowledge to challenging backend engineering projects that can make a positive impact on the world. I have a strong background in C and Java programming, data structures, algorithms, and software engineering principles, and I am always keen to learn new technologies and tools.Prior to pursuing my MS degree, I worked as a Third Officer at Fleet Management Limited for seven years, where I was responsible for navigation and cargo operations, passage planning and optimization, and managing onboard IT services and paperwork. I gained valuable experience in maritime security, safety, and regulations, as well as teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills. I also trained and guided new crew members and ensured compliance with international standards and codes. My passion for software development stems from my interest in finding innovative ways to enhance efficiency, performance, and quality in various domains and industries.
