> Month end accounting including calculation of management fees and booking of fee accruals of over 100 funds managed under Macquarie Asset Management division.> Perform General Ledger (GL) close activities like review of journals entries, Inter-company breaks, Balance sheet reports, Balance Sheet commentary, Revenue variance commentary, GL & Bank Reconciliation.> Analysis on material MoM & YoY variances of Balance sheet and Profit & Loss accounts to provide thoughtful commentary to senior management/business teams.> Reconciliation of Balance sheet accounts with appropriate supporting documents and monthly certification of the balances in Balance Substantiation tool known as BCS.> Reconciliation of Bank/Treasury accounts and clearing against related debtors/creditors.> Monthly analysis of debtors/creditors balances by creating pivots on Ageing, Business unit, Fund & entity levels. Follow up with client servicing team for recoverability of aged balances and ensure timely settlements.> Liaise with Auditors, providing audit supports and ensuring timely clearance of Financial Statements.> Preparation of various management reports and handling accounting of Provisions, Other Income Analysis and recoveries on a monthly basis.> Extraction of various reports used from Oracle Business Intelligence and MicroStrategy tools.> Liaise with other teams to get information required for monthly accounting and analysis and providing final submission of disclosures to Global financial reporting team.> SME for Corporate Data Program (CDP) – accountable to deliver monthly balance sheet positions to IRIS warehouse which is further used by Regulatory and other reporting teams for filling returns/submissions.> Handling queries from various reporting teams and providing commentaries for data provided as part of CDP.> Fulfilling Enterprise Data Management (EDM) requirements by ensuring Data quality dimensions are considered while reviewing controls & lineages for CDEs.
