European Rocketry Challenge(EUROC) is a competition hosted by Portugal Space Agency in collaboration with Copenhagen Sub-orbitals and European Space Agency (ESA).The task will entail designing and configuring a 3 km apogee rocket with 2 stages.Our team is the first team to successfully launch and recover a 2 stage rocket at EUROC. The following are the tasks assigned and completed by me:• Designed and developed a 2-stage rocket using Solidworks, evaluated the stability of the rocket using OpenRocket.• Manufactured and conducted flight testing, mechanical testing and flight recovery testing of the 2-stage rocket including propulsion integration within deadline.• Performed risk assessment of 30 different failure modes by considering failure probability, mishap severity and criticality.• Interacted closely with the manufacturing and supply chain vendors and facilitated in fabricating components like centring rings and bulkheads utilising CNC tooling and 3D-Printing. -
