With over three years of experience as a Software Engineer, I have a strong foundation in backend development, delivering robust and scalable solutions. My journey into software development began during my bachelor’s degree in 2017, where I balanced freelancing alongside my studies.Post graduation, I tried my hands in entrepreneurship with a self driven car rental startup. It didn’t quite take off, but hey, I learned how to build products from scratch.In February 2021, I joined The Probe, diving into PHP, WordPress, and MySQL, leading a team to build their website and prelaunch platform. In search of bigger challenges, I moved to Cognizant in July 2021 (yes, I do like keeping you on your toes with my timeline). There, I worked on some serious mainframe magic with COBOL, JCL, and DB2 for a leading American bank all while pursuing my master's from Chandigarh University – because why not multitask, right?By November 2022, I joined GeeksforGeeks where I helped their notifications team keep users in the loop without spamming (promise!). There I got to play with Django, PHP, JavaScript, Redis, DynamoDB, and PostgreSQL. I also explored AWS services like SNS, SES, CloudWatch, S3, Glue, Athena, and Firehose.Now, I’m part of Trackier’s engineering team, where I’m diving into Node.js and Golang (yes, still learning but having fun), alongside PHP, Redis, Memcache, and Google Cloud to help businesses scale their marketing efforts. It’s been a fun ride, and I’m always up for new challenges especially when they involve picking up new skills (and maybe squashing a few bugs along the way).
