- Lead engineering efforts within Salesforce Detection & Response org to build scalable data pipelines that improves our overall security posture. - Communicate with several stakeholders internally as well as externally to gather core requirements and create a project delivery plan. - Mentored several engineers on the team to become operational on their project tasks. - Driven bi-weekly scrum planning, backlog grooming, retrospective and Sprint Demo meetings across multiple teams. - Proactively participated and helped define the Long Term Plans(LRPs) for my team for defining and prioritizing the projects in the longer run. - Defined key metrics to help report the Cost To Serve(CTS) to our senior leadership. These metrics clearly helped in identifying high cost and low value artifacts and paving a path to decommissioning them, thereby saving over $50,000 in monthly AWS savings. - Lead the efforts to build a fast & efficient tool to assist in quick triaging & investigation of security incidents across Salesforce - Define & create Semantic relations between different data sources to create a single unified Semantic view which will assist the Threat analyst to make quick decisions or inferences when investigating a security incident. - Build batch data processing pipelines using Spark, AWS EMR & Airflow to implement the semantic tables.

• Lead the efforts to enhance operational excellence across the team by surfacing performance metrics from every client machine across Salesforce clouds running threat detection agent binaries. - This enhances our visibility into client performance within each Business Unit of Salesforce. - Implemented a scalable, resilient & fault tolerant service design using EKS, Docker, SQS, S3, Terraform, Spinnaker, Helm & Grafana.• Designed a solution to detect & report data exfiltration attempts from a set of identified election campaigning organizations in relation to the 2020 US Election Security. - A real-time pipeline was created by tuning existing Data Exfil model & profile, leveraging Kafka, AWS Lambda, S3, SNS & reporting events via Splunk.• Designed a Metrics export pipeline using AWS Lambda to export all metrics emitted from AWS, Kafka & Spark jobs into Argus(Salesforce internal metric store). - These metrics were critical in driving Operational Excellence across the team through a set of curated READS dashboards in Grafana. - The AWS resource management was setup using Terraform.

Designed a Spark pipeline for a faster export of data from Hbase to the Data Warehouse in Hive.Micro-services design using REST APIs, data modeling in Hbase and analyzing service metrics through Grafana dashboards.Involved in the OCI migration efforts at Oracle UGBU level to move all the infrastructure and services from an on-premsis infrastructure into OCI.Performing service log analysis using Splunk for quicker issue resolution & creating alert thresholds using Sensu & Prometheus monitoring tool.Managing CI/CD pipelines, end-to-end deployment cycle using Jenkins, Git & Nexus Repository Manager integration.

Involved in Development and Maintenance of data pipelines for Yahoo’s Search Analytics vertical, driving growth through analyzing user engagement, click through rates, content placement & display ads.Designed several REST APIs in Java for accessing the metrics data stored in Hbase. Designed the service layer that assisted the in-house metric monitoring dashboard responsible for providing several key user engagement metrics. These metrics helped data scientists, product managers & web platforms to perform A/B testing and release new features on Yahoo Search.Onboarded several new Data feeds & designed data pipelines to onboard them using tools like Apache Oozie, Pig, Hive and Mapreduce and using Memcached for server level caching of API responses.

Worked towards building analytical forecasting solutions by monitoring raw video data through Set-Top-Box devices across US.Involved in Design & Implementation of the complete Hadoop Ecosystem using tools like Pig, Hive, Map-Reduce & Oozie.Involved in designing a Real-Time pipeline for assisting live dashboards, using tools like Apache Kafka, Storm, HBase & ElasticSearch.

Privacy Preserving Data Stores for Mobile Platforms: The key motive behind this project was to explore different cloud based secure solutions to capture, store and query the data generated by a user throughout his/her entire life period. The data generated by user needs to be guarded in terms access from many 3rd party services and apps. This brings us to an idealization of what is called a Personal Data Store (PDS)- A personally owed storage space of a user, where he securely stores his entire data. Some of the implementation highlights are:· Facebook Graph API for fetching user’s Facebook wall posts, friend lists & more.· AddressBook API for fetching phonebook contacts on iOS. · ALAsset library for fetching images from Photo Library on iOS.· SQLite v3.0 API for database integration locally on iPhone.· Dropbox integration for uploading/downloading files over cloud using Dropbox API.· Implemented Security aspects for the PDS using AES 256bit encryption.· JSON parsing of raw image metadata to retrieve GPS info.This work was partially supported by National Science Foundation (NSF) Grants Career-CNS-0845803, CNS-0964350, CNS-1016343, CNS-1111529, CNS-1228198 and Army Research Office Grant W911NF-12-1-0558.

Involved in the Global Implementation project of the manufacturing Client- Emerson. My primary responsibility was to design customized solutions spanning across following Oracle modules- Order Management(OM), Purchasing & Finance. The solutions were implemented using Oracle E-Business Suite- 11.1.25, Oracle Reports Builder- 10g & 6i, Oracle Forms Builder- 6i & Oracle Workflow Builder. Standard programming tasks included designing and debugging PL-SQL code, SQL Query Tuning, Query designing & basic UNIX scripting. Code & object migration using HP's Kintana tool and version management using Serena's PVCS code repository.Development tasks in PL-SQL included designing Packages, Procedures, Cursors, Ref-cursors, Triggers & functions.Also Worked on Data Migration tasks to migrate data from Legacy systems into Oracle. Performed standard ETL tasks like preparing data files for loading, designing Concurrent Programs in Oracle using PL-SQL for performing data loading.
