While having end to end view of the major resourcing challenges at one of the biggest IT services provider my job involved.1) Cleaning up the system of the inconsistencies in employee data.2) Finding out about the redundant employees & assigning them in revenue generating roles.3) Keeping in touch with our 10 biggest accounts & fulfilling their resourcing needs in the given window.4) Plugging in revenue leaks happening due to opportunity costs related to not finding the right resources on time.5) Driving operational efficiency by utilising the resources on bench & organising employee cross-skill trainings.6) Driving employee engagements by interacting with new joiners & solving the issues they face during on-boarding. 7) Concept development of new app for real-time visibility into our resources.8) Concept development of new app for real time resume sharing of bench resources with the internal & customer project managers for their current and future requirements.9) Reduced the bench strength by 7-10% in that period.These efforts helped save the company Millions of Dollars which would have not been possible otherwise while also unleashing a series of changes in internal processes, hiring processes, internal applications, people management systems, on-boarding process for new joiners, information flow between many departments & the organisations culture making Tech Mahindra more lean & nimble.
