Was leading a team 2 merchandisers, Production coordinator & QC to handle complete Sourcing/ Marketing of Knitted Fabrics from China for customers in Bangladesh market.Key Responsibilities: Dealing with reputed buying houses & garment manufacturers in Bangladesh to facilitate them fabric sourcing from China.  Sourcing wide range of Knitted Fabrics which includes basic knits fabric, Sportswear fabrics, Loose knits fancy jersey & terry fabrics, Knit denim, PU coated fabrics in natural & synthetic fibres.  Understanding the customer’s requirements, review enquiries, identifying the suitable supplier to place the order, price negotiations with suppliers and Quality confirmation.  Placing orders to suitable suppliers by taking all call outs over quality & delivery requirements. Freezing the T & A plan with supplier as well as customer to keep everyone on same page.  With assistance of merchandisers & production coordinator, monitor all orders on day to day basis. Attending all critical issues in regards of quality or delivery & ensure that the right quality of fabric gets delivered at right time.  Apply technical skills to resolve quality issues & find out alternative solution.  Get all goods inspected before shipment by QC. Reviewing the inline/ final inspection reports done by QC to make sure that no any defective fabric is shipped by supplier.  Locate, develop, and maintain a consolidated new supplier base by keeping in mind running fabric trend. Also meeting existing suppliers on regular basis & maintain healthy business relationships.  Play critical role in new Product Development for specific new enquiry. Continuously feeding new fabric samples to customers as business promotional activity.

Work Profile: Executive in R & D department.Responsibilities :• Applied my theoretical knowledge & skills in its practical sense to produce desired fabrics from varieties of Multifilament & spun yarns like Carded, Combed, Compact, Siro, Open End, CSY of 100% Cotton & its blends in which the other constituent encompasses Lyocell, Modal, Polyester, Recycled PET in varied proportion with counts from 10Ne to 100 Ne.• Worked in R& D department to overcome the hassles involved while converting yarn into fabric.• Contributed in the development of new products and deciding their process parameters.• Coordinating with the production and maintenance department for optimizing process variables and machine parameters.• Was dealing with the customer complaints and working upon improving the process, work practices and machinery condition to get rid of the abnormalities.• Involved in managing all the activities concerning quality assurance and quality control of these products and ensuring compliance with the ISO standards.• Was looking after raw material management.

Gained thorough knowledge of Amsler & Caipo attachment systems for fancy yarn manufacturing.• Visited and understood the working of other departments of the composite industry.

• Utilized the skills and knowledge garnered to a real time application and learning the practical working of a weaving unit.• Studied entire process of Worsted suiting manufacturing from fiber processing to finished fabric

• Had the opportunity to see the actual working culture in a textile spinning industry.• The two months training covered the different departments in P/V blend spinning industry, starting from blow room to ring frame, also had the first hand experience in yarn testing department.
