My responsibilities include talking care of Alkylation Plant, SRU (Sulphur Recovery Unit) and Poly Plant. In addition to these I am also field operator to WHB( Waste Heat Boiler). In Alkyation and Poly units we produce Blending stocks for Gasoline and by products such as Propane and Butane. In SRU plant we recover Sulphur from sour gas stream. I am also responsible for FCC(Fluid Catalytic Cracking) unit. In this unit the reaction mix is fractionated and distilled to make the valuable, saleable products. In addition to these units I am also responsible for Liquified Petroleum Gas( LPG ) treating unit.

My responsibilities as a Waste Water Treatment plant were sending treated water to GVRD which were within specs as per guided by Ministry of Environment. To make sure that water was within specs various tests were performed during the shift like pH, Ammonia, Sulphides , Phenols,TSS and Chlorine, oil and grease and cyanide.

Responsible for assuring smooth operation of power boiler, recovery boiler and package boiler through DCS. Meeting the demands of the pulp mill for fresh steam and clean water. Running unique water treatment plant with 4 MVR's ( approximately 8000hp) and 2 MEE's .Responsible for training new employees for different positions.

Responsive for smooth operation of Hog fuel boiler and package boiler. Providing steam and fresh water to the mill for production of Aspen mechanical pulp. Chemical testing of boiler water and making appropriate changes to increase efficiency of boilers .Helping my co- workers in extra ordinary circumstances.
