I spearhead a high-performing team of three developers to deliver new features within Delphix's Continuous Data platform. Additionally, I am responsible to develop detailed technical designs for the implementation of product features, taking into consideration scalability, performance, and maintainability aspects. Furthermore, I took on a mentoring role for junior developers, providing guidance and support in technical problem-solving, code optimization, and career development.

I enhanced the reporting framework, significantly increasing the download capacity of reports by a factor of 10 while ensuring optimal processing speed. Additionally, I designed and implemented a bulk user profile data update API, replacing the previous laborious sequential user-by-user update approach. This new solution allowed for the simultaneous bulk modification of up to 50,000 user profiles, resulting in a remarkable tenfold reduction in the overall batch processing timeline. Furthermore, I implemented user data access protocols to ensure client data security, employing attribute-based access control methods.

I orchestrated the design and development of several RESTful APIs to seamlessly integrate new modules, such as "Lost & Found," "Apple Pay," and "View Statements," into the Agent Desktop application. This involved leading the end-to-end backend development process for various agent desktop modules, which included gathering requirements from stakeholders, meticulously designing APIs, implementing Java code, conducting rigorous testing, and successfully deploying to production. Additionally, I took on a mentoring role, providing comprehensive training to junior developers in Java, Spring, and REST protocols. This equipped them with the necessary skills and knowledge to seamlessly integrate into project teams and contribute to project success.

I engineered microservices using REST protocols to facilitate seamless interaction with the mainframe, bridging the gap by integrating COBOL copybooks via IBM MQ. This optimisation significantly improved inter-system communication. Additionally, I crafted and introduced a suite of Spring Boot starters to systematically address recurring challenges, including error handling, data encryption, and robust mainframe connectivity. These starters streamlined development processes and enhanced overall project efficiency.
