My law practice focuses on bankruptcy and financial matters for clients in the following counties: Allendale, Beaufort, Berkeley, Charleston, Clarendon, Colleton, Dorchester, Georgetown, Hampton, Horry, Jasper, and Williamsburg.

This position is focused on managing all aspects of both Chapter 13 and Chapter 7 bankruptcy cases for a high volume practice, which includes managing a team of paralegals and support staff, attending hearings in both state and federal court, and ensuring that deadlines are met in multiple matters. I am also focused on financial aspects of the firm, such as management of payroll, billing, and management of our operating and trust accounts. Due to the small size of the firm, it is necessary to be able to take on many tasks on a day-to-day basis, such as answering phones, filing cases, and managing files.

Drafting documents and engaging in case review for a firm focused on representation of insurance companies in various cases in multiple states. I worked closely with the named partner in completing all tasks for the firm.

Researching and writing case studies regarding bioethics for law professor. Helped create course information for two law courses in Blackboard. Briefed various issues relating to bioethics and legal writing.

Serving as the first point of contact for an extremely successful and busy company. This required answering all calls coming into the company and routing them correctly, meeting and directing all visitors to the office, and maintaining the conference and common areas. Due to my performance, I was also asked to help in entering invoicing during my time at this job.
