I teach developmental reading courses, transfer level English courses, and am involved in creating a First Year Experience program on our campus. I am an On Course Ambassador and an all around On Course and high impact teaching practices cheerleader for my college campus. Currently, I serve as the faculty co-chair on the Professional Development Committee, and member/participant in various other committees/activities on campus. I served as the Professional Development Coordinator for two years and continue to actively advocate for best practices and engagement in teaching on campus by offering Active Learning Saturday sessions for faculty.

Coordinated a 1.5 million grant for the college. Collaborated with faculty, staff, and administrators on the activities and programs created for the grant. Worked with the business and finance office to keep up with budget guidelines and restrictions. Wrote and submitted quarterly and annual reports to the California State Community College Chancellor’s Office. Attended and participated in several regional and state meetings.
