I am the Event Director at The Grove Club in College Grove, Tennessee. I oversee events such as charity golf tournaments, club golf tournaments, weddings, holiday events, showers, and more. I meet with members and clients to create menus and floor plans, discuss budgets, and provide recommendations for vendors.

I was the venue manager for a brand new event venue. I booked weddings and events and helped promote the venue to the community. I met with vendors and potential clients to ensure their experience with us will be perfect.Skills I have acquired during my time with The Fly Farm: * Adaptability:The event world is constantly shifting, but working at an event venue that is still under construction requires much more adaptability. I have navigated the timeline of construction while simultaneously promoting the venue. * WordPress: I have the ability to create blogs, recipes, and upload images and text.

I communicate with potential clients and conduct tours of the venue. I schedule meetings, tours, and networking opportunities with potential and current clients. I manage the social media accounts, our two guest homes on AirBNB, and update our website when new information is needed. I am present at every event ensuring our clients have the best experience possible.

I assisted in managing the Nolensville Farmer's Market on Saturdays. On average, the Nolensville Farmer's Market has 40 vendors and thousands of customers. I ensured every vendor and customer enjoyed their experience with us. I managed the Instagram and Facebook accounts which have over 5,000 followers, likes, and check-ins. I met with the board members periodically and helped brainstorm new ideas for the years to come.Skills I have acquired during my time with The Nolensville Farmer's Market:Square and Market Spread - These two online systems helped us organize vendor sales, revenue, and profit. These systems were used at every market for customers and vendors. Creator Studio and Business Suite - I utilized both of these online systems to schedule my posts in advance. Communication Skills - I greeted guests when they entered the market, answered any questions they had, and ensured they had a wonderful experience shopping with us. Supporting Small Businesses - This was the most valuable lesson I learned during my time with the Nolensville Farmer's Market. I learned that when you purchase from a small business, it helps a family, best friends, or a single entrepreneur gain confidence in their abilities and their product. That is something I will never forget. After experiencing this, I have an entirely new perspective on shopping small.

I assisted in the organization and implementation of junior golf events in the Middle Tennessee area. Skills I have acquired with this job:* Microsoft Excel - I used Microsoft Excel every day to help manage thousands of junior golfers and hundreds of golf tournaments. * Organization - Organizing all important documents I may need while on the job.* Communication - I oftentimes had to explain difficult concepts to various types of people. * Time-management - Preparing ahead of time in order to feel well-equipped for the tournament.

I assisted with the ladies programs on the practice facilities. I also helped with miscellaneous tasks in the pro shop such as excel spreadsheets, sending emails, creating and editing documents. I also organized the retail items in the pro shop.Skills I have acquired during my time at Brentwood Country club include:* Interpersonal Communication - I helped assist the members with many different things, I communicated with my coworkers, my superiors, and with members. * Organization - I organized the different retail products in the pro shop in order to make the best use of the space.
