Ann develops and executes global impact strategies for the world’s leading brands. Her focus at the intersection of international issues, sustainability, and systemic change has led to meaningful assignments on-the-ground – from advancing health equity in Rwanda to deepening understanding of the refugee crisis from the Zaatari camp in Jordan.Ann is a Stephen M. Kellen Term Member with the Council on Foreign Relations and was selected by the Atlantic Council for its Millennium Fellowship – the think tank’s flagship program for connecting and empowering leaders who will shape the twenty-first century. Ann served as the lead press contact for the U.S. Special Operations’ rescue of humanitarian aid worker, Jessica Buchanan, from captivity in Somalia; her role was credited in Buchanan’s book, Impossible Odds.Ann previously worked in print and broadcast journalism, reporting from London, New York, Chicago, and Seville. She also wrote and took photographs for two award-winning books that tell the story of the Oklahoma City bombing. As a professional photographer, she has published images in The Washington Post and National Geographic Adventure. Ann is a graduate of the Medill School of Journalism at Northwestern University.
