Working in the Suvrathan Laboratory learning fundamental neuroscience research techniques such as genotyping, brain slicing and imaging, and how to analyze different kinds of behaviour in mice, among other skills. Helping collect data for current Masters and PhD student projects.

Analysis of the cerebellum in a mouse model of Fragile X Syndrome in an Undergraduate Research Project (NSCI396 course) in the Suvrathan Laboratory. Specifically, I explored motor learning and endocannabinoid receptor distribution.

Between May and July 2023, I tree planted in Northern Ontario with Brinkman Reforestation Ltd. The experience allowed me to not only appreciate the solitude of nature but also join an inspiring community of dedicated individuals, further strengthening my work ethic and resilience.

Worked alongside PhD candidate to analyze, plot, and count DAPI and MBP stains in The Faiz Laboratory. Tested capabilities of specific proteins to force the conversion of astrocytes to oligodendrocytes by cellular reprogramming.

Research program collaborating with UofT professors to tackle global issues at the Munk School of Global Affairs and Public Policy. Addressed racial bias in the tech industry and proposed solutions as to how to change these algorithms after engaging with experts in the field and conducting research.
