I aim to use my energy and experience to represent the people of Precinct 3 and to be a strong leader governing the County. My leadership will help make transportation safer and more efficient, restore affordability, address racism and protect the environment.

Providing dynamic, proactive leadership that engages policy makers and the community to end homelessness. ECHO envisions a community fiercely committed to ending homelessness.

Led state-wide fundraising efforts ($2.4M budget) of this national organization, which partners with middle schools to expand the learning day, to support program in Houston and Austin and plan for growth; established and nurtured partnerships with foundations and corporations; developed an Austin advisory board, and teamed with Austin ISD leadership; successfully increased giving by 22% in eleven months and teamed with colleagues across 7 states and headquarters in Massachusetts.

Managing relationships with foundations and government bodies that invest in prevention and education to give help and hope to the sickest, youngest and poorest in the Austin and surrounding communities.

Served on the executive committee helping plan the LBJ Birthday Bash and the 1992 Black Tie and Boots gala

Worked for Chairman Joseph Biden on drugs and crime legislation related to juveniles, schools and families

Worked closely with UT Law School Prof. Bob Dawson and Travis County Public Defender Bill King, attended meetings around the state, and assisted with the newsletter
