Galangoor djali (good day) it’s nice to be connected!First things first, I’m a very proud Badjala, Woopaburra and Torres Strait Islander woman with a passion for social justice and LGBTQIA+ rights. I’m a Creative Industries (Journalism, Media, Comms & Dance) graduate of QUT and Yanalangami graduate of Tranby. I’ve worked as the Program Manager for the CareerTrackers High School Program and the National Coordinator of the Young Indigenous Women’s STEM Academy in consortium with CSIRO. I bring my passion for education and humanity into everything I do to empower tomorrow’s leaders.Beyond that, I’m a storyteller, facilitator, and deeply passionate about communications. I believe in the power of stories to connect, inspire, and drive meaningful change. I’m a Board Member for Digi Youth Arts, contribute to the First Nations Advisory Group within the Committee for Brisbane, and I’m on the First Nations Advisory Group for the Pyjama Foundation.As the first in my family to graduate high school, I carry a deep sense of gratitude and appreciation for the power of education, and the role our voices play in decision making spaces. I’m committed to amplifying the voices of our youth to make space for their ideas and contributions to inform much needed political change. Through advocacy and pride, I work to ensure that their contributions resonate far and wide.
