Island Pavement Cutting Co. was established by Ann's grandfather in 1960. Ann Louise joined Island Pavement in 1965 as office manager. She demonstrated her skills in all phases of her family owned business. In 1995, Ann through her experience and dedication, guided Island Pavement into the next level of operations. She is active in professional associations including LICA, Professional Women in Construction, and the Regional Alliance for Small Contractors, where she was named "Woman Contractor of the Year 2010". In 2008, Ann was a keynote speaker at a Senate Committee meeting on construction.
