• Provides timely updates to employee data, including tracking of hires, terminations, promotions, transfers, pay increases in the PayFlex payroll/HR system• Coordinates with Recruiting in candidate screenings, interview scheduling, day-of-hire preparation. Conducts onboarding, safety initiation, and general benefits information for new hires• Coordinates with corporate offices in Dubai and Moscow and outside immigration counsel on issues involving expat transfers to the Houston office on L1 and H1B visas• Tracks compliance training and arranges for outside employment counsel to conduct annual trainings• Maintains compliant personnel files, payroll files, benefits files, immigration files, public access files, applicant files, EEO-1 files• Conducts regular and thorough audits of the I-9’s• Responsible for updating the Houston office Organizational Charts using MS Visio• Establish and leads the office safety team, which includes fire warden training, CPR training, office safety audits, OSHA safety education, and promoting a culture of safety within the work environment• Provides support to PR by editing internal and external messaging and participating in company sponsored community outreach • Provides support to the Head of HR, OD and Public Relations by maintaining shared calendars, coordinating staff meetings, submitting expense reports, and Power Point deck presentations• Regular updating to the HR page on the company Intranet’s HR portal• Answers employee questions as they arise or directs them to the appropriate person or resource
