In 1982 I was asked to move to Atlanta to take over the operations of a $6 million company that sold and delivered medical equipment including incubators and heart monitors to hospitals around the Southeast. During my three years there I helped grow the company from $6 million to $40 million in sales by automating order and shipping processes and opening two new warehouse facilities.
