Station Director for Denver Open Media’s (DOM) community media station. Hands-on experience in production, facilities & equipment management, technical support, programming, outreach, and training. Role requires staff-to-director level expertise and responsibilities. • Outreach & Development –– Spearheaded inclusiveness outreach campaigns and worked with AmeriCorps VISTAs to formally develop strategies for effective community outreach. • Classes –– Developed curriculum for live multi-camera studio production class, a variety of advanced studio courses, youth media workshops, and podcasting. Teach classes and workshops regularly. • Youth Programs –– Developed and lead weekly after-school youth program, summer programs, and one-time workshops that have served thousands of youth and produced hundreds of videos, many that received awards. Helped secure more than $70,000 in grant funding for youth programs.• Production Operations –– Manage live, remote, and recorded productions, editing, and uploading digital content. Producer for DOM’s Open Music Sessions for 12 years, and scores of community programs. • Technical Support –– Manage support for 2 studios, 30 editing systems, dozens of laptops, 8 RAIDS, 5 servers, VOIP Telephone system, and Master Control for cable channels.• Web –– Primary content administrator and liaison to web developers for continual improvements to functionality on the complex Drupal-based station management tool, denveropenmedia.org.• Programming –– Ensured that 3 cable channels were scheduled 24/7 with community-created content. • Facilities and Equipment –– Procured and managed a $395,000 equipment budget annually. Managed maintenance and upgrades to the studios, edit labs, and Master Control systems.

• Management –– Managed a staff of 12, and the entire producer intake process for hundreds of residents. • Education –– Supervised continual development and efficient implementation of the media curriculum. • Operations –– Researched and acquired equipment and supplies for 4 studios, field equipment and edit stations. Created and maintained standard operations and procedures documentation and policies. • Liaison –– Partnered with the Engineering and IT departments to ensure proper technical functioning of all equipment and facilities, including the asset management system and database.
