Within the Commercial Change Management division of the bank I work in the customer and colleague area focusing on the customer journey throughout the various implementations.In additional to my project delivery manager role I have designed two weekly dashboards for the programme directors’ use; one is a MI dashboard reporting on the projects delivery targets, exceptions, incidents & complaints, the second dashboard is a detailed look into the programmes incidents monitoring the key ones and their resolution. I have also created a colleague briefing which detailed all the impacts facing them as a result of a key implementation date. In order to complete this with a detailed understanding I worked alongside the business analysts on all the projects impacting the implementation to get a view on the issues colleagues would be facing. Other key achievements within the role included:Working with workstream leads to analyse whether a group of commercial customers are suitable for the new bank whilst considering the suitability criteria against the customers request to move. Designed a data repository which contains sensitive customer information that is maintained and the progress is tracked daily, this also provides the project with a clear audit trail. Chairing a weekly stakeholder meeting that discusses recommendations on the customer moves and obtaining committee agreement with the proposed decisions. Working alongside the project manager to agree the customer communication approach and drafting letters.Attending daily sessions with the frontline link managers updating them on the progress with the customer moves so they can in turn keep the network up to date. Initially working on a £4 million project & then moving on to support three smaller projects where I was heavily focused on the financial tracking & planning elements within each project. In additional to my PMO role I have designed & created a financial overview dashboard for the divisional director which highlights the financial situation of all projects within the portfolio; this is updated on a monthly basis and shared amongst the senior management team. Other key achievements within the role included:Creating a high level ‘plan on a page’ for each project by holding individual planning sessions with all workstreams involved with the projects’ delivery. Tracking all the finances for a £4 million project budget, approving purchase orders with procurement, logging accruals, forecasting and producing a monthly financial report slide for the project board looking at year to date and life spends, forecast versus actuals. Forming a part of a test team to improve the current financial tracker so that it is more precise and time effective. The aim was that this would be rolled out across the portfolio for consistency amongst the PMO. This required a 2 month period of various data tests, working group sessions & improvements/recommendations put forward before the final version was signed off by senior management. Once implemented I trained colleagues how to do month end finances & monthly project tracking using the new toolkit available. Designing a SharePoint site template for logging RAIDS this was to be used by a small project that isn’t operating within the central Transformation Delivery function.
