Special Projects Coordinator - Sustainable Housing
The Special Project Coordinator for Sustainable Housing is responsible for developing mutually beneficial relationships between internal and external stakeholders, negotiating contract bids, managing new construction/renovation contracts, and managing financial reports; such as, budgets, cash flow and revenue generation. This role is instrumental in keeping a high level lens on the sustainability and management of Cowichan Tribes, on reserve housing stock, navigating CMHC’s Sec95/Social Housing renovation & new construction applications and identifying resources and opportunities to better support CP land owners. This role acts as a liaison between financial organizations, government entities, internal departments and community members to provide home owners and tenants with resources to overcome and address complex housing barriers and needs.
