YoungStar is Wisconsin’s statewide quality rating and improvement system. Responsible for the content development of resources, job aides, trainings, and other supports related to supporting all YoungStar participating providers in creating inclusive environments for children with special needs, as well as resources that develop providers’ skills around positive guidance and discipline strategies for children with disabilities within programs and classrooms. Specifically, this role includes developing and facilitating online and in-person training content (e.g. workshops, webinars, professional learning communities) and facilitating group cohort coaching sessions.

Provided services in inclusive and self-contained setting with students identified with Autism, cognitive disabilities, emotional-behavioral disabilities, specific learning disabilities, and students with multiple disabilities. Duties included attending transition planning conferences with Birth-3, conducting initial special education evaluations, developing IEP's, conducting functional behavioral assessments, creating effective behavior intervention plans, and using data to make instructional and programming decisions. As well as, collaborating with multiple service providers and working with diverse families.

Provided licensed childcare to children 0-13 under the supervision of the Department of Children and Families. Supervised employees, implemented developmentally appropriate lesson plans based on individualized assessments, conducted business management oversite, and utilized marketing strategies.Collaborated with families and community resources.
