Led a team assisting NYSDOH with its Health Information Technology for Economic and Clinical Health Act (HITECH) Electronic Health Record (EHR) Incentive Payment Program. Responsible for direct oversight and coordination of the project team, including all aspects of program administration, provider support and stakeholder outreach, and system design. Responsible for the management and compliance of two Regional Extension Center (REC) contracts - NYC Regional Electronic Adoption Center for Health (NYC REACH) and NY eHealth Collaborative (NYeC), on the behalf of NYSDOH. Managed developments and updates for program policies and procedures through analysis of federal legislation set forth by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS), other state and federal regulations, stakeholder collaboration, and the statewide health information technology (HIT) landscape. Utilized change management to enhance processes and procedures, garnering project team and stakeholder buy-in to streamline, update, and improve internal processes and procedures. Responsible for the development of the NY Medicaid EHR Incentive Program’s contribution to the annual HITECH Advanced Planning Document (APD) and the State Medicaid HIT Plan (SMHP).
