Having been heavily involved in my community I was afforded the opportunity to hold down various positions in Grant County, New Mexico working with youth, creating programs, supporting programs, and developing curriculum for various non-profit ventures. During this time I was able to use my degrees in English and Education as well as my Master's of Social Work to travel and hone the skills needed to help others. I enjoy working in non-profit settings, getting to know programs and resources, and am a researcher at heart. I believe in taking initiative, giving credit where it is due, and going above and beyond for the completion of a goal. Writing grants and working with the youth populations are two of my niches in which I would like to continue to pursue.
