● Leads sourcing and product development activities to achieve both strategic and operational success. ● Ensures alignment with the overall agency sourcing strategies to ensure continuity of supply and to constantly increase productivity, reduce costs and prepare for future sourcing challenges in the area of responsibility. ● Working in Sweden for several months since other two partners are Swedish, and they also own their company in Sweden. Travel and visit customers in Sweden, Norway, Finland and other Europe countries and U.S.A frequency. ● Elaborates and implements sourcing strategy in line with the overall customer sourcing strategy. Establishes and leverages vendor relations. Ensures continual supply of products which meet established standards and manages supply risk by determining when additional or alternate sources are required. Implements sourcing risk management and devises risk mitigation measures in order to ensure continuity of supply. Optimizes internal and external spend. Translates the agreed strategy into plans and budgets in co-operation with the head of global sourcing, category leads, and the local sourcing functions in the emerging markets in order to meet continuity of supply, quality, as well as cost reduction objectives. Initiates and completes Vendor Agreements, as well as Quality Agreements as needed. Coordinates the preparation and negotiation of sourcing contracts with the vendors. Electric / Electronic / Lighting / Sourcing / Merchandising● Responsible for all aspects of the Electric team Clas Ohson China Recruit, develop, lead and manage the team to drive business growth and cost savings in direct sourcing throughout China. ● Plan, co-ordinate and follow-up of tasks involving quality and engineering personnel involved in the selected projects;● Secure complete documentation at various stages of the project;● Manage the development of product/range price matrix to the commercial teams, showing cross costing analysis of products. ● Ensure clear cost structures and breakdowns are received from key suppliers for key volume products;● Oversee the negotiation of prices with vendors, and encourage the development of good & better ranges within the same factory. ● Manage the samples production control of technologies observance while producing products by suppliers. ● Timings control of samples production made by suppliers. ● Oversee delivery and customs processing control of goods from suppliers;● Plan and join supplier audits in quality management systems, environment management systems to identify supplier development areas, ● Plan and carry-out supplier performance improvement plans to secure continuous improvements in quality, delivery performance and price competitiveness, ● Secure capacity agreements and build close supplier relationships to meet the growth projections for the coming 1-3 year periods. Overall responsibility for progress of the sourcing projects or activities with suppliers and performance of project team members;● Overall responsible for supplier performance – price, on time delivery and right quality;Overall responsible for commercial agreements, supplier approval, capacity agreements and supplier ramp up plans. Monitor purchasing cost trend to implement reasonable cost control method. Build strong working relationships with both internal and external parties, work collaboratively with head office in Sweden.
