- Responsible for coordinating the research at UoS funded by Luxfer Gas Cylinders, together with co-supervision of two PhD students sponsored by LGC and one PhD student at Bristol University. - Continuing to develop analysis tools for tensile loaded composites to understand their material behaviour. - Working as part of the µ-VIS centre (Multidisciplinary, Multiscale, Microtomographic Volume Imaging centre) at UoS in the exploitation of micro-focus Computed Tomography (CT). This includes working as part of the management team to improve workflow and organisation and also as an experienced CT user.

Directly linked to my PhD, during which research outcomes from the experimental work have been transferred Luxfer Gas Cylinders, this has enabled the development of the current manufacturing process used in industry.

To investigate, develop and analyse products prior to their release to customers, involving testing and developing of the products and organising departments to ensure the progression of the products.

To support the research and development of transducer designs. This included carrying out manufacture for prototype products, tank testing and investigation of existing products.
