I was the primary editor on The Lab Method's "Life Support" project which was produced andpublished in partnership with UCSF pediatric hospital. Since May 2020, I have managedonline content for The LAB Method, including designing the template, writing, and editingthe content for weekly newsletters, strategic social media growth and outreach, and appcontent development.

I helped draft Project Matriarch’s ‘Pledge to Care,’ which is now live and attracting signatories from around the nation. I worked cross-functionally on the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Committee as well in order to effectively align the text and mission of the ‘Pledge to Care’ with Project Matriarch’s diversity statement.

As part of a 12-week internship program offered by The Borgen Project, a global nonprofitlobbying for the reduction of global poverty, I was responsible for political advocacy throughgrassroots organizing, creative fundraising, lobbying, and campaign marketing. I mobilizedindividuals in my community to take action on behalf of the international affairs budget, andserved as an ambassador of the Borgen Project at networking and political events. I also metwith congressional staffers and personally raised more than double the typical fundraisingamount of other interns on behalf of the Borgen Project, qualifying for the ‘Chief Closer’award.

Sausalito

As an intern for a popular regional magazine, I was responsible for content migration and consolidation, SEO best practices, research, and archiving old content as they moved onto a new digital platform, working mainly in Wordpress. I also interviewed winners of their "Best of the County" prizes and produced short about the winners' businesses or charities.

Mill Valley

I worked the front desk and helped to uphold the daily care of a busy exercise studio in my area. I was also trained in sales for their retail and membership packages and gained critical experience in customer service and care.

Wallingford, Ct

I went through many training sessions with the head English teaching staff at my high school in order to develop the tools to tutor high school students in writing. Under a continuously developing curriculum, I edited and revised students' papers and projects and taught the mechanics of the writing process. I also helped them formulate arguments, approach text analysis in a nonthreatening way, and think critically about their pieces.
