Worked strategically with UX across the complete portfolio, spanning four product lines residing in four countries. I held the responsibility for industrial design management and a joint resposibility for our digital design. I worked in cooperation with sales regions to gather customer and user insights, and with product managers and developers to turn insights into product requirement and design for R&D.

Worked as a part of a user experience team of three within the product line responsible for Ascom’s software portfolio. Performed the full range of UX tasks from user research, concpets and scenario creation, ui design, as well as usability validation of medical device products.

Worked as a test leader in a research project aimed at evaluating the effects of how the physical work environment affects the performance of process operators. The usability evaluation was set up as in a full-scale lab environment, focusing on the test participants subjective estimation of control throughout the test session. I planned and performed the test, as well as recruited test participants from relevant target groups. The sessions were recorded and the result produced a qualitative data analysis.

Gothenburg, Sweden And Zanzibar, Tanzania

The aim of the project was to utilise recycled plastic material as a basis for development of a new product, made partially or fully from recycled plastic, that would fulfil an identified need in the island of Zanzibar. The developed product should be a sustainable product, well adapted to the local society, and should be produced locally in Zanzibar.The final result is a unique set of modular school furniture, made entirely of plastic material.The furniture have been designed to fit primary school children in East Africa, meaning that the furniture are ergonomically adapted to the children, providing them with better workspaces than the current furniture.The modularity of the furniture makes them easy to transport and thus facilitates export to other areas in need.The products can be produced locally in Zanzibar and assembled only using a few local tools.

Developed and arranged a material library for the students at Teknisk Design, Chalmers School of Technology, in collaboration with Raw Sweden. The work consisted at first of identifying, organizing and collecting materials. Thereafter the challenge was to compile 100 relevant and inspiring material for a material library. It is still in use by the students and has become a natural part of their education.
