About Anna Freeman

I am an undergraduate student-athlete at Washington University in St. Louis. My major is Psychological and Brain Sciences, with minors in Children's Studies and Organization and Strategic Management. I am interested in child psychology, specifically psychopathology, Autism Spectrum Disorder, and emotional development. Through several clinical, research, and volunteer opportunities, my passion for psychology and working with children has grown immensely. This passion stems from my belief that it is crucial for all children and families to possess adequate resources when a child is struggling. I strive to continue my studies, eventually obtaining a doctoral degree, to gain a deeper understanding of clinical child psychology in order to become that someone who can help children in need. My dedication, passion, and hard-work combine to motivate me to achieve my goals so that I can help others. Additionally, I am very outgoing as I love working with and learning from others. As a Varsity Student-Athlete at WashU, I have developed traits such as consistency, time management, and teamwork that easily apply to situations off the court. With these skills, I am looking forward to diving into opportunities within the psychology field and connecting with others.
