Working cross functionally between Development Management and Planning policy, my role includes involvement in the development of the Local plan, Neighbourhood planning and well as AMR work. Part of this role includes consultation and engagement on key documents with the wider community seeking opinions to inform the Planning Policy work. I am also involved in the Development Management terms of processing planning permissions and enforcement issues relating to planning permissions, as well as day to day admin for the wider planning team. In addition to this I am also involved in Information Governance for the team, which includes Data Breaches and Subject access requests.

Responsibilities include the development of existing and new ranges within my category. This is achieved by using above and below the line marketing. Planning, implementation and measurement of strategic, and tactical activity to ensure that sales and profits targets are met and market share in maintained and grown. In addition to this role I also did 6 months covering the Heating and Plumbing Buyers role.

Effective communication and promotional campaign for categories under my remit, incorporating the execution of promotions in store and measurement of promotions. Introduction of new ranges into the categories, as well as responsibility for all marketing communications to support the category

Responsibilities include the development and management of effective Local Marketing and PR campaigns within budget. This covers product, new, renewed and underperforming stores within the estate. Development and implementation if of programmes that create awareness of Wickes and the products, which are, sold and increase the overall brand awareness.

Marketing of Novalogic games in the UK and Eastern European countries. Merchandising and buying related promotional items and arranging exhibitions. Maintenance of the consumer database.
