I am attending Merit America to receive my Google Data Analyst Certificate. While I currently work as a veterinary assistant, I am passionate about data analysis. In the program I am learning data cleaning skills, as well as, learning to utilize platforms like R and SQL. Previously I have worked in Pet Care and Customer Service for Pet Palace. This has taught me many things including, how to organize my time, people skills, and critical thinking. Working in Pet Care also highlighted my passion for advocation. I continue to foster my passion for advocation by working as a veterinary assistant at VIPPet. I am able to use my skills to assess animal behavior and determine the best way I can assist the dogs and the vet. I aim to move into a field where I can use the data analytics skills I am learning to continue to advocate for people and things that don't have a voice. As I am working to build my expertise I am looking for a company that will grow with me.
