Designing for a specialist creative studio supplying design services to the licensed goods sector;- Working with licensed characters including Disney, Miffy and Hasbro to design ranges of innovative all overs, placements and badges for a wide range of products including apparel, homewear, stationary and hard goods. - Collaborating on style guides contributing to trend, colour research, artwork and product - Understanding brand guidelines around the use of license assets.- Creating new assets for each brand incorporating the brands aesthetic and hand writing. - Applying prints to proposed product ideas and creating sophisticated mock ups for client trend brochures & style guides

Primarily designing for Ladies nightwear, lingerie and swim.A fast paced and varied position that required flexibility and an adaptable handwriting to cover many different looks from hand painted floral repeats to fun fashion-forward placement graphics and slogans. The role required me to be able to switch seamlessly between different product areas and covered Ladies, Mens, Nightwear, Lounge, Lingerie, Swim, active & licensing. Key responsibilities included;- - Identifying Catwalk and new trends and creating responsive prints and graphics- Communicating with designers and buyers, working to briefs and implementing feedback to move designs forward and keep to the critical path- Tasked with bringing ideas to the table on how to move on best sellers by adding newness to staple & long running designs. - A skilled understanding of colour to create new colour stories and applying colour in a way that showed balance and coherence across range plans- The creation of innovative, yet commercial designs often within tight price, colour and embellishment limitations- An adaptable handwriting covering hand drawn and painting artwork through to graphic placements, geometrics and character work- Preparing print ready artwork, colour reduced and compatible with screen sizes and considerate of printing and cost limitations - Editing studio bought artwork, cleaning, colour reducing and putting into repeat

A three month project working across Ladies and Girls Essentials products for a range of customers. Project objectives included;- Utilising expertise to drive innovation, researching new ideas on trend and print applications- Develop cohesive ranges of all overs, graphics and embellishments for the client to present to their customers. - The role was a combination of working directly to client briefs and self directed research and design.

Supplying older girls prints all product areas;- Working to customer briefs and self direction to create trend driven artwork- An understanding of category area and the market place - Responsible for researching and creating my own ranges of ‘on trend’ all overs, placements and embellishments. - Delivering innovative design within the constraints of feasibility, time and budget.

Working as part of a in-house team for a large supplier to retailers including M&S, Next and F&F. This role involved;- Communication at all levels and close collaboration with design teams to formulate seasonal ranges of comprehensive all over prints, placements, & embroideries- Identifying trends and creating moodboards / colour palettes to inspire the confidence of team leaders and to present to customers - Delivering innovation under challenging price constraints- Drawing garment shapes and collaborating on range plans; involved in decisions on seasonal colour & print - Designing marketing and branding material such as logos, labels & swing tags- Preparing technical specs and factory ready artwork - Working with licensed products- Comp shopping and catwalk / highstreet research

An international design role for a streetwear brand, developing multi product ranges alongside the senior designer. Involved in the complete design process from initial concept through to production, the role encompassed: - Identifying seasonal trends and adapting to suit the brand- Comp shopping and market research- Analysis of previous sales to identify areas of success. - Working with the design lead to make decisions on new season’s shape, fabric and trims - Sketching and drawing garment CADs and developing coherent range plans.- Creating all over prints, graphics, embellishments and embroideries across the range- Working closely with technical departments and generating tech packs for sampling and production- Responsible for requesting and approving samples, strike offs, lab dips and maintaining the critical path
