With over 7 years experience working in Year 6 at an Outstanding City Primary School, I have a comprehensive understanding of how to design, implement and deliver a quality curriculum that is progressive, broad and balanced. I am passionate about the fact that all children, regardless of social background, have the right to an outstanding education. Aside from being a full time class teacher, in recent years I have also worked as a reading consultant, offering bespoke supports to schools within the local authority. I have recently completed a NPQLT (National Professional Qualification in Leading Teaching) through Teach First and coach and mentor Early Career Teachers in my current role.
