Graduate Assistant For Peer Health Education Programming
Supervise 30 Ohio University students as they educate the Ohio University community on imperative health topics. Programs include but are not limited to; sexual assault prevention, bystander intervention, comprehensive sexual health, birth control, STIs/HIV,nutrition, consent, and responsible alcohol consumption. Annual presentations at nation and regional BAACHUS Peer Education conferences. Lead and organize weekly meetings.Schedule requested programs and assign to Power Gamma members. Help students conceptualization, create and, implement successful health programs and initiatives into the Ohio University community. Encourage Power Gamma members to identify and assess risky health behaviors within their Ohio University communities and help them create programming, assessment, and evaluation that helps to minimize these risks.
