A role consisting of data management with a strong focus on analysis and accuracy. Duties include:⭐️ Loading large datasets onto the company website, maintaining accuracy and highlighting any discrepancies.⭐️ Maintaining accuracy of all client contact details, ensuring confidentiality throughout.

An extension of my placement, this role further deepened my marketing knowledge and also increased my responsibility within events and projects. Duties included:⭐️ Sole responsibility for the development and implementation of all digital marketing for IoD East & West Midlands. Including email, website and social media. As a result, organically improved their LinkedIn following by 1557%.⭐️ Responsible for producing social media analytics for IoD England which was shared across the company, which helped stakeholders actively within their roles.⭐️ Maintaining a network externally with volunteers and working with both local and company wide teams to ensure collaboration and consistency on a range of local and national events and communication.⭐️ Maintaining high quality communications with all across IoD England, engaging with a range of stakeholders.⭐️ Experience in using Dotdigital, Microsoft Dynamics CRM, Canva and basic knowledge of Google analytics.

Midlands

As an integral component of my academic journey, I took part in a year-long professional experience within the industry. A role compromising membership, marketing and events. Duties included:⭐️ Leading on all marketing and administrative duties for the IoD Director of the Year Awards. Liaising with both internal and external stakeholders to ensure a successful event.⭐️ Collaborated in a small team, planning, managing and organising IoD’s Commonwealth Business Conference and Dinner, where there were high profile speakers such as West Midlands Mayor Andy Street and former gold medalist Olympian Roger Black. Throughout this project, I also led on the marketing campaign, creating a successful marcomms plan which resulted in a sold out event.⭐️ Partnering with mid and senior managers to strategise and execute the marketing campaign in preparation for the launch of the 'Tomorrows Director' course at the Institute of Directors (IoD). Recognised as one of only two individuals within the entire IoD organisation who had successfully completed the course, I assumed the pivotal role of distributing information across the entire company, extending outreach to various regional sectors, and fostering external connections with universities to promote the course's merits.⭐️ Communicated with members on email, the phone or on video call. Supported members by having meetings to discuss the different membership tiers, membership benefits and answered any queries that they had.
