I am an MSc Biomedicine student at Lancaster University. My area of interest is within oncology and the development of novel cancer therapies and their clinical application. I am currently seeking connections and opportunities researching in the biomedical field. I gained a 2:1 in Natural Sciences BSc, in which I explored a range of sciences including biochemistry, cell biology and ecology. Throughout my degree I built on many skills, most notably critical thinking, laboratory skills, data analysis and presenting. Extra curricular opportunities throughout my time at university also played a part in improving my team working and collaboration skills, whilst giving me a position of responsibility.Working part-time at KFC has developed my customer service and my ability to work within a team. Volunteering as a Police Cadet Leader involved supporting the meetings in which the police cadets develop their knowledge of the police force. This allowed me to develop my leadership skills and work with young people.
