Marketing for Bioscopen Leiden means mostly working with texts, writing for the newsletter and social media. Graphic design is also involved.Coming up with exciting ideas and visual choices is an additional part of the job.

Being a team leader requires a great sense of responsibility; leading the team of employees and making sure their job is well done, time management, solving any technical problems, money management, customer service, and starting and ending the shift in the correct manner. This means I have many responsibilities, so I need a good memory, alertness, timing, leadership and customer-friendliness skills.

At StudentsPlus, I was required to be very detail-oriented. Communication is a big part of the job, so great communication skills were needed to communicate in a correct manner. Dealing with unhappy customers is also part of this. The job required me to be very well-informed about the company, its rules and goals.

After my internship, I became a part of the permanent crew of the festival. - Reviewing screeners and thus helping with the programming- Leading volunteers- Organisation of several events, like a collaboration with Leiden University: everything from communicating with the lecturers to ordering, handling and setting up equipment needed.
