As the manager over the Protein Production Platform (PPP) I was overseeing the work of 5 FTE, working in the area of small-scale expression, large scale purification and baculovirus expression. In addition the job required daily contacts with customers and collaborators as well as regular invoicing and overall budget responsibility.

The Structural Biology lab at NTU started in 2009. Part of my responsibility was to act as a Deputy group leader for a group of scientists, handling employments, budget, overall lab organization and day-2-day planning/coordination of projects. I have been building up the Crystallography lab as well as been involved in starting up a Fragment based drug design platform (FBDD) and running multiple FBDD projects. I have also been responsible for writing RCA with industrial partners and project managing that collaboration work.

The Structural department at Astra is working with determining the 3D structure of proteins in complex with potential drugs in structure-based drug design projects.My responsibility was to work as a Scientist and internal Project-coordinator where I was solving structures, summarizing results from the department and discussing those with the medchem, pharmacology, toxicology departments etc.• Project coordinator - responsibility• Working close with many disciplines within the pharma company

My research was focused on using novel Masspectrometry methods to study the interactions between proteins. I also worked with biosensors (Biacore).
