Ms. Anna Kucharski is a highly skilled radiochemist and quality assurance (QA) expert with over 20 years of experience in the fields of nuclear science, radiochemistry, and medical isotope production. She began her career in 2005 at the University of Ottawa, Canada, where she developed her foundational expertise in radiochemistry. In 2012, Anna relocated to the United States and joined Sofie Biopharma (IBA Molecular), one of the country's largest medical isotope manufacturers, where she gained significant experience in radiopharmaceutical production and radiation safety.In 2016, Anna was invited to the University of Chicago, where she played a pivotal role in establishing the Cyclotron Facility. Over the course of seven years, she became an integral part of this world-class operation, specializing in particle accelerator models, cyclotron maintenance, radiochemical modeling, and medical isotope production.In 2023, Anna took on a new challenge at Fermilab, where she assumed responsibility for the legacy Radioactive Source Program and the Nuclear Materials Program. In her current position, Anna is focused on enhancing the laboratory's quality assurance (QA) program, leveraging her extensive experience in auditing and developing customized QA systems. Prior to her role at Fermilab, Anna served as the Head of QA at the University of Chicago, where her leadership consistently delivered outstanding results and ensured compliance with nuclear and occupational health and safety regulations.Ms. Kucharski holds a Bachelor of Science and an MBA, and her esteemed academic research has been widely published in numerous peer-reviewed journals. With her diverse expertise and a proven track record in radiochemistry, quality assurance, and regulatory compliance, Anna is a recognized leader in her field and continues to make significant contributions to the advancement of nuclear science and safety.
