I edited stories on a daily basis using a strong knowledge of AP Style to put together a sports section five times a week. I was also the lead on design for the weekly Pregame insert prior to football games, where I demonstrated skills in Adobe InDesign and Photoshop.

I was a football and wrestling beat reporter for the Daily Iowan. I have covered major events like the NCAA Division I Wrestling Championships in Pittsburgh, PA as a solo reporter and multiple University of Iowa football and wrestling events. I have focused on longform feature stories, game previews and recaps.

I helped manage a recreational facility by booking tennis courts, assisting with membership sign ups, doing hourly rounds of the facility, having CPR certification and strong communication and cash handling skills.
