In 2013, I was promoted to the Social Affairs reporter, covering a wide range of local and national significance on a range of issues affecting the community.I have broken many.

I worked as a general reporter and weekly columnist at The Star in the aftermath of the Canterbury Earthquake. I covered some major events for The Star, such as the Royal Commission of Inquiry into the Canterbury earthquakes. Many of these stories were picked up and run in the New Zealand Herald.I was also The Star's web editor, uploading and managing.
